A Rough-Fermatean DEMATEL Approach for Sustainable Development Evaluation for the Manufacturing Industry

With the increasing awareness of importance sustainable development, evaluation sustainability performance for manufacturing has become an emerging issue importance. Although many scholars have studied enterprise sustainability, to date, institutional and risk control perspectives received less attention, particularly in practices. To address research gap, this study develops a comprehensive framework evaluating that encompasses economic, social, environmental, institutional, dimensions. A novel group decision-making approach, called Rough-Fermatean Fuzzy Decision-Making Trial Evaluation Laboratory technique is proposed, which identifies mutual relationships among 15 criteria generates influence weights. Fermatean fuzzy theory used reflect subjective judgment experts inherent uncertainty evaluation. Moreover, rough set aggregate multiple experts’ opinions retain potential information form interval values. case Taiwan’s electronics manufacturers carried out demonstrate practicality validity proposed approach. The results show goodwill corporate image, zero emission pollutants waste discharge, governance are most influential criteria. This can assist decision-makers sector developing more appropriate improvement strategies.
